KINSTON, N.C. (WITN) – Kinston police have named a suspect in a bank robbery that happened this morning.
Christopher Lewis, of Ayden, is wanted for the robbery at the First National Bank branch on West Vernon Avenue.
Police said around 10:00 a.m. a masked man came into the bank and got money from the teller. The man, who employees believed was armed, left the bank on foot.
The 40-year-old Lewis is believed to be driving a 2016 silver Toyota 4Runner with North Carolina tag PCJ-3526. Police have armed robbery warrants out for the man.
Police are asking anyone with information on Lewis’ whereabouts to call them at 252-939-4020.
