Aces for Autism opens new facility with ribbon cutting today

WINTERVILLE, N.C. (WITN) – Tuesday afternoon a ribbon cutting and grand opening is to be held for the SECU Autism Clinic of Eastern North Carolina.

Aces for Autism, an organization serving children and families impacted by autism, is opening a new location in Winterville.

The clinic is expected to serve 250 kids from across the area and house custom rooms designed for individuals with autism to learn and grow.

It will also have therapy space along with learning labs.

Today’s ceremony will be held at 4 p.m. at the Ron and Rose Bowen Family Autism Campas at 654 Worthington Road in Winterville.

National, state, and local leaders are to attend, along with supporters and business leaders from the region.
