MOREHEAD CITY, N.C. (WITN) – Carteret County Aging Services is celebrating Older Americans Month with its 10th annual Senior Lifestyle Expo Friday.

Carteret County Aging Services puts on the event, which offers seniors and caregivers a chance to connect with local resources and services available in the county.

During the expo, over 30 organizations will be present, including county government departments and healthcare providers offering everything from home care to senior assistance programs, nursing homes, and more.

“This expo is a one-stop shop for them to learn about programs, healthcare options, and other support systems that can help them stay healthy, engaged, and independent,” says Kisha Williams, director of Carteret County Aging Services.

Today’s event will be held at the Leon Mann, Jr. Enrichment Center in Morehead City from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
