10 a.m. Primary Election turnout numbers down significantly compared to 2020

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) – There is significantly less interest in this year’s Primary Election compared to four years ago based on voting numbers in Pitt County.

10 a.m. voter turnout numbers updated by the Pitt County Board of Elections show that there have been 2,525 people who have cast their vote this election day.

That’s compared to 4,291 in 2020 and 4,937 in 2016.

The next update for turnout numbers will take place at 4 p.m.
