GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) – The ECU Club Baseball team is hoping the community will help them fundraise for the National Club Baseball Association World Series.

The #1 seeded ECU is scheduled to face off against #8 Florida State on May 24th at 8 p.m. EST in Alton, Illinois.

A fundraiser set up by the team has currently raised over $12,000 of its $22,000 goal.

“As a club program, the players are responsible for raising money to pay for post-season expenses.  The parents, family, and friends of ECU Club Baseball make our post-season efforts possible and we could not be any more thankful for the help we receive from our fans.

The support we receive is truly unbelievable. If there is any way you can help by donating or sharing, we will be forever thankful,” the fundraiser story reads.
