Ahoy Mateys! Onslow County and Swansboro Parks and Recreation Departments proudly present Pirate Fest.  Join us for a swashbuckling adventure in Downtown Swansboro on Saturday, May 10, 2025, 10 am -4 pm.

Set sail with a day full of thrilling activities, treasure hunts, and lively entertainment. Discover a world of pirate lore as our crew of scallywags and buccaneers take you on a journey back to the golden age of piracy. Watch as swashbucklers engage in sword fights, listen to musicians sing sea shanties, and visit with live mermaids at this all-day event that brings coastal North Carolina’s rich pirate history to life.  Dress up in your finest pirate attire and join us for a day of plundering, pillaging, and non-stop pirate fun!”

Visitors can enjoy pirate shows, live music, pirate encampments, and take photos with sirens of the sea. Aaargh! Ship sets sail, so chart yer course for Saturday, May 11 in Downtown Swansboro. Pirate Fest is sponsored by Onslow County Tourism, Curtis Media, and Lighthouse Realty Group.
