Ingredients
- 8 oz. lump crab meat, drained
- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup sour cream
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 tsp. Old Bay seasoning
- ½ tsp. paprika
- ¼ tsp. black pepper
- 2 tbsp. chopped green onions
- 2 tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
- Crackers, toasted bread or tortilla chips, for serving
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crab
Drain the crab meat well and gently pick through it to remove any shell pieces. Set aside.
2. Make the Creamy Base
In a large bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, garlic, lemon juice, Old Bay, paprika and black pepper until smooth.
3. Add the Cheese and Crab
Fold in the cheddar, Monterey Jack, green onions and crab meat. Stir gently so the crab stays in larger pieces.
4. Fill the Baking Dish
Transfer the mixture to a small baking dish and spread it into an even layer. Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese over the top.
5. Bake Until Bubbly
Bake at 375°F for 20–25 minutes, until the dip is hot, bubbly and lightly golden on top.
6. Serve Warm
Let the dip cool for 5 minutes, then serve warm with toasted bread, crackers or tortilla chips for dipping.
